Stevenson Girls Earn State Tennis Title

A doubles team placed first in state, helping Stevenson finish fourth overall in the tournament.

A Stevenson High School girls doubles team set a school record by winning the state championship over the weekend. 

Alexxis Kiven and Kendall Kirsch earned the state doubles title, Stevenson reported in its Daily Digest. This is the first doubles team at Stevenson to earn a state title, according to the school.

The Patriots overall placed fourth in the state with 36 points. Lake Forest and Hinsdale Central high schools tied for the championship title with 39 points, followed by New Trier, which finished the tournament with 38 points.
