BGHS to Present 'The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee'

Musical tickets are $10.

will stage "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee" April 14, 15 and 16 in the school theater.

Shows are at 7 p.m. April 14 and at 7:30 p.m. April 15-16. The Tony Award-winning show is the tale of over-achieving adolescents, competing in the spelling championship of a lifetime. The unlikely bunch of heroes, for whom a spelling bee is the one place where they can stand out and fit in at the same time, learns that winning isn't everything and that losing doesn't necessarily make you a loser.

Singing, dancing, and spelling their way across the stage, the cast provides plenty of teenage angst in each character's quest for perfection and approval.
