Sente Welcomes Students To Democracy Center

Diverse student group discussed politics.

State Rep. Carol Sente (D-Vernon Hills) welcomed a group of students from and China on at the Adlai Stevenson Center on Democracy on Monday for a discussion on cultures, philosophies and politics.

“The Adlai Stevenson Center on Democracy is doing a wonderful job of exploring practical solutions to real world problems and bringing accountability back to government,” Sente said. “Visiting with these students from diverse backgrounds serves as a great reminder of what can be achieved when we learn from each other and explore practical solutions to problems.”
