Sente Seeks Budget, Legistative Input

State Rep. Carol Sente will host a public forum Jan. 24 in Vernon Hills.

In preparation for the 2012 legislative session, State Rep. Carol Sente (D-59th) will host a budget and legislative forum Jan. 24 to hear directly from residents about ideas to improve Illinois.

Sente encourages all concerned residents of the 59th District to attend the event, which will run from 7-8:30 p.m. at the Laschen Community Center, Century Room, 294 Evergreen Drive in Vernon Hills.

“I firmly believe that the best ideas come from people with first-hand experience,” Sente said in a statement. “If you have noticed wasteful spending that can be eliminated, or if you have ideas to use state money more efficiently, I want to hear from you.  If you have other ideas for legislation that you would like to share, I encourage you to come as well.”
