Vehicle Stolen, Holiday Decorations Damaged

PROPERTY DAMAGE

A resident of the 500 block of Forest Way reported someone cut their outdoor Christmas lights and knocked over some of their decorations during the night of Dec. 3. 

A complainant reported his vehicle was damaged when the wind blew a shopping cart into the side of it at 9:55 a.m. Dec. 10 in a parking lot on the 400 block of Half Day Road.

SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE

A complainant reported an occupied vehicle was parked on the roadway of the 1200 block of Deerfield Parkway at 3:30 p.m. Dec. The vehicle left before officers arrived.

THEFT

A resident of the 600 block of Golfview Terrace reported an unauthorized charge on his credit card from an out-of-state Walmart store on Dec. 9.

A complainant reported the theft of gas from a wheel loader that was parked between Nov. 1 and Dec. 10 in a lot on the 1100 block of west Dundee Road.

A complainant reported the driver of a vehicle left a gas station on the 1200 block of Arlington Heights Road without paying for their gasoline at 12:27 p.m. Dec. 10. Officers obtained the vehicle information and will make contact with the owner. 

A resident of the 1100 block of Miller reported her vehicle was stolen while she was out of the country between March 24 and Nov. 26.

A complainant reported a saxophone was stolen between Dec. 10-11 from a business on the 1300 block of Dundee Road.

Several items were reported stolen from Dominick’s, 450 W. Half Day Road, at 5:20 p.m. Dec. 12. Complainant reported the Theft of several items from the store. The offenders left the area prior to the Officer’s arrival.
