Police Blotter: Wallet Found in Shopping Cart

ACCIDENT
Javier Barrera-Beltran, 35, of the 1900 block of Green Lane, Palatine, was charged with driving without a license, driving without insurance, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, failure to notify of damage and unsafe tires at 5:55 a.m. June 17 on McHenry Road near Arlington Heights Road.
ALCOHOL
Motohide Ho, 26, of the 200 block of Happsfield, Arlington Heights, was charged with driving under the influence, driving with a blood-alcohol content above the legal limit, improper parking and driving without insurance at 4:21 a.m. June 16 at Strathmore and Arlington Heights Road.

FOUND PROPERTY
A shopper on the 1300 block of Dundee Road reported that he found a wallet in a shopping cart at 7 p.m. June 17. The owner was contacted and picked it up from the police department.

IDENTITY THEFT
Alejandro Bailon-Fernandez, 35, of the 2000 block of Bayside, Palatine, was charged with identity theft at 1:30 p.m. June 17.
