Police Blotter: Upset Fast-Food Customer Throws Food

ALARM

Officers responded to an active alarm at 11:55 p.m. Nov. 15 on the 1200 block of Green Knolls Drive and found a rear door unsecured. No one was home and the house was checked by the K9 team. No one was found inside and the house appeared to be under construction. The homeowner was notified and the door was secured.

A landlord on the 600 block of Hapsfield Lane reported at noon Nov. 15 that his tenant was to move out, and when he went to check on the unit, he found that the tenant had changed the door lock without his permission. The landlord sent a text message to the tenant who replied that she was not out of the home yet.

A manager at reported a customer became upset and started yelling, threw some food across the counter and knocked over some cups at 8:40 p.m. Nov. 15. The manager and other employees felt threatened. The customer, who had departed before officers arrived, was not located.

A resident reported receiving a telephone call at 10:50 a.m. Nov. 15 from a man who told the resident that he won money and was on the way to deliver it. The caller knew the resident’s address and requested other information, which the resident refused to give. The caller then hung up. The caller’s number registered out of Tennessee.

PROPERTY DAMAGE

A resident of the 800 block of Silver Rock Lane reported that someone broke the plastic cover to a motion-activated flood light above the garage between 5:30 and 6:30 a.m. Nov. 15.

THEFT

Someone took a blue Trek mountain bike from an open garage between 7 a.m. and 1 p.m. Nov. 10 on the 400 block of Bernard Drive.
