Police Blotter: Stolen Backpack Found in Arlington Heights

BURGLARY

An Arlington Heights police officer located a backpack in that town’s jurisdiction on Jan. 29. The officer contacted the owner, who advised that his vehicle had been burglarized in Buffalo Grove. The owner told police that vehicle was probably unlocked, and his backpack and wallet had been taken.

A resident reported Jan. 29 that she has been receiving multiple solicitor telephone calls from a Chicago based company. An attempt was made to contact the company, but the phone number had been disconnected. The resident was given direction on how to deal with solicitor calls. 

PROPERTY DAMAGE

A citizen reported that he believes his vehicle was damaged while being washed someone between Jan. 8-15 at a Buffalo Grove car wash.
