Police Blotter: Resident Reports Missing Girlfriend

IDENTITY THEFT

A resident reported that when she logged on to her credit union account on Dec. 2, she found that someone had fraudulently charged purchases to her credit card. The account has been canceled, and the orders were stopped.

Officers responded to a report of an open garage door at a vacant house at 9:50 p.m. Dec. 5 on the 700 block of Wyngate Lane. Officers gained entry into the house and found no one inside and all in order. The house was secured and a message was left for the real estate agent. 

MISSING PERSON

A resident reported at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 5 that his girlfriend called him to pick her up in Waukegan at 1 a.m. Dec. 4. When he arrived, she was not there and he had not heard from her since. Hospitals were called but the girlfriend was not at any of them. The girlfriend was entered into the police state database.
