Police Blotter: Intoxicated Man Found in Parking Lot

ALCOHOL
A complainant reported seeing an intoxicated man sitting in a parking lot at 7:10 p.m. March 5 on the 700 block of West Lake-Cook Road. Officers spoke with the man, who stated he had been drinking. He was transported to Northwest Community Hospital.
SUSPICIOUS PHONE CALL
A resident reported receiving a scam-type phone call on March 5 from a man claiming he was conducting a criminal investigation and that the resident he was in serious trouble. The complainant eventually hung up the phone and called the police. The incoming number came from Denver, Penn., with no other information available.
