Police Blotter: Gun Complaint Leads Officers to Youths

DISORDERLY CONDUCT

Officers responded to a report of a man with a gun at 3:43 p.m. Jan. 29 on the 800 block of Weidner Road. They found four minors holding airsoft guns. The officers spoke to the youths.

Officers located several credit cards lying on the ground  at 10:45 a.m. Jan. 29 on the 1000 block of Johnson Drive. Officers contacted the owner, who will pick them up from the police station. 

SUSPICIOUS PERSON

A resident of the 500 block of Crown Point Drive reported that two people knocked on her front door at 4:15 p.m. Jan. 29. The resident did not answer the door and after a few minutes the visitors got into separate vehicles and left the area. 

PHONE HARASSMENT 

A complainant reported Jan. 29 that he was receiving harassing calls. The complainant blocked the phone number but the calls continue, he told police. Officers determined that the calls were coming from the Chicago Police Department, and turned the situation over to that department.
