Police Blotter: Driver Chooses Wrong Side of the Road, Jewelry Stolen

ALCOHOL

Akanksha Vir, 24, of the 1100 block of Bristol, Buffalo Grove, was charged with driving under the influence, driving too fast for conditions and illegal lane use at 8:40 p.m. March 12 on Arlington Heights Road near Heritage.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT

Joseph W. Simmons, 26, of the 9000 block of Oakley, Chicago, was charged with disorderly conduct at 2:25 p.m. March 10 at the Buffalo Grove Police Department.

DRUGS

Daniel J. Arrigo, 22, of the 200 block of Harlem, Glenview, was charged with possession of cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia and improper lighting at 8:35 p.m. March 13 on Milwaukee Avenue near Deerfield Road.

THEFT

A resident of the 500 block of McHenry Road reported jewelry was stolen between March 10-13.

OTHER INCIDENTS

Krystyna Pirga, 53, of the 1100 block of Westover, Schaumburg, was charged with driving on the wrong side of the road and driving without a valid license at 8:01 a.m. March 12 at Buffalo Grove and Lake-Cook roads.
