Police Blotter: Car Damaged by Eggs, Dog Found

ANIMALS
A resident of the 900 block of Cambridge reported a stray dog in her yard at 8:50 a.m. April 22. Officers could not locate the dog’s owner. The brown, male beagle was transported back to the station and was eventually transported to Kings Kennel.

A citizen turned in a wallet that was found the evening of April 22 in a parking lot on the 1-100 block of Buffalo Grove Road. Officers located the owner, who picked up the wallet.
PROPERTY DAMAGE

A complainant reported that numerous eggs were thrown on her vehicle, causing scratches between April 20-21 on the 200 block of Winding Oak.
VANDALISM
Someone spray painted the bathroom walls at Willow Stream Park between April 19-22. Park district employees removed the paint.
