Abandoned Bicycle, DUI Arrest

ALCOHOL
Krzysztof Moson, 32, of the 800 block of Miller Lane, Buffalo Grove, was charged with driving under the influence, speeding, illegal lane usage and no proof of insurance at 12:28 a.m. Oct. 17 at Golfview Terrance and Dundee Road.

A complainant reported receiving a phone call Oct. 21 from a man claiming he was with the Attorney General’s office. The caller also claimed there was a criminal case against the complainant and asked her for personal information, including her Social Security number. The complainant recognized this was a phone scam and hung up.

A complainant reported finding a silver Bronco BMX bicycle leaning against a tree Oct. 22 on the 600 block of Old Checker Road. Officers brought the bike back to the police station for safekeeping.
PHONE THREAT
A complainant reported receiving several threatening text messages from a former employee on Oct. 21. Officers contacted the former employee and told him to stop all communication with the company.
