Joann Shapiro (nee Beckman), 83, died Sept. 27.
She was the beloved wife of the late Irwin; loving mother of Jay (April) Shapiro, Arnold (Sherry) Shapiro and Shelley Shapiro; proud grandmother of Fiana and Alla; and dear sister of the late Paul and the late Allan Beckman.
A service will be held at noon Oct. 1 at Chicago Jewish Funerals — Buffalo Grove Chapel. Interment will follow in Shalom.
