How Well Do You Know Thanksgiving Pop Culture?

In the spirit of Thanksgiving, here's some arts-flavored trivia about famous Thanksgiving movie and television scenes. Can you figure them out?

There are some movies that have holiday dinners you'd be thrilled to be a part of, and some you'd be relieved to never have to see again.

Every bit of the "Christmas Vacation" dinner is pretty brutal to watch even before Chevy Chase cuts into a gross, flatulent turkey. But a chance to sit down and eat and drink with the Big T from "The Sopranos" could be interesting as long as you don't make him angry.

In the spirit of Thanksgiving, Patch has assembled some trivia questions for those of you that like movies and television as much as you like turkey. The answers will be posted on Friday.

  1. In this Thanksgiving-centered movie, a woman gets very upset after Robert Downey, Jr. accidentally drops a turkey on her. 2. The director of last year's strange, critically acclaimed "The Tree of Life" directed Colin Farrell and Christian Bale in this film about the sequence of events that led to the first Thanksgiving. What's the movie called?
  3. The Thanksgiving meal occurs off-screen in this comedy directed by North Shore native John Hughes that includes multiple forms of transportation. What's the movie called and who does Steve Martin get to spoon with in it?
  4. Adam Sandler says grace at a Thanksgiving meal that includes a who's who of comedic actors (Seth Rogern, Jonah Hill and Jason Schwartzman) in this appropriated titled movie. What's it called and who directed it?
  5. As the longest running American sitcom (and animated program), this show has had ample opportunity to poke fun at Thanksgiving. What's one example of an episode where this iconic family has celebrated?
