Police Video Documents Tornado Aftermath, Survivors' Stories
A Buffalo Grove police officer produced this video documenting the devastation during a relief trip to the Washington, Ill., area.
When Buffalo Grove Grove police and firefighters traveled to the Washington, Ill., area to offer relief to tornado victims, they saw firsthand the devastation the storm left behind.
They have shared their experience, images of the tornado aftermath and accounts from first responders who lost their homes in this nearly 12-minute video produced by Buffalo Grove Police Officer Frank Horbus.
The village's police and fire departments delivered about $8,600 in gift cards as well as other donations to first responders impacted by the tornado.
