Buffalo Grove Bank Supports Book Drive

Bring your books to Buffalo Grove Bank & Trust to support the Bernie's Book Bank drive.

Buffalo Grove Bank & Trust is among the Wintrust bank locations that will be accept donations of new and used children's books this summer. Wintrust has set a goal to collect 100,000 children's books by Aug. 16 to be donated to Bernie's Book Bank, which works to increase book ownership by distributing new and used books to at-risk children throughout the Chicago area.

Bernie's Book Bank collects, processes and redistributes quality new and used children's books in order to increase book ownership among infants, toddlers and school-age children.

"We are so excited about our new partnership with Wintrust, which will familiarize more members of the Chicago-area community with what we're working to accomplish," said Brian Floriani, executive director of Bernie's Book Bank. "We recently distributed our millionth book, and in 2013, we will distribute another million books to more than 70,000 children. With the help of our dedicated volunteers, donors and sponsors like Wintrust, we will accomplish our goal."
