Earthquake Rattles East Coast
Shaking was felt across multiple states Tuesday afternoon
Fredericksburg Patch, which covers an area of Virginia near the epicenter of Tuesday afternoon's earthquake, , which occurred around 1:50 p.m. eastern time.
The quake was reportedly felt by people in Washington, D.C., Massachusetts and North Carolina, among other states
Some media outlets are reporting that tremors were felt as far away as Chicago.
