Arlington Heights Road Construction Begins
Improvements are expected to continue until November.
Orange flags and spray paint pepper Arlington Heights Road, where the Cook County Highway Department began a reconstruction project today (Monday).
Pavement will be replaced between University Drive and Whitehall Drives and north to Lake-Cook Road.
Two-way traffic will be limited to half of the road, while the other side is under construction. Temporary traffic signals will be used in the construction zones.
The project is scheduled to be completed in early November 2011, according to the Buffalo Grove Police Department.
