Restaurant, OTB Property Owner Faces Foreclosure

The owner Adam's Roadhouse is reportedly unsure whether he will renew his lease; off-track betting operator plans to remain in the village.

The future of is uncertain, with the owner of the property in foreclosure, according to a report by the Journal & Topics.

Tenants of the building at 301 N. Milwaukee Avenue include the restaurant and the off-track betting (OTB) operation run by Hawthorn Race Course.

The owner of Adam’s Roadhouse told the Journal that unsure if he will renew his lease when it expires next month. Meanwhile, a Hawthorn representative said he is committed to keeping OTB in Buffalo Grove. He said it could continue at its current location or the facility could request a new location.

Buffalo Grove officials re-approved the OTB operation early this year. Off-track betting has been offered at Adam’s Roadhouse since 2009.
