'The Wedding Singer' Hits The Stage

Big Deal Productions, a program of the , presents "The Wedding Singer" as its summer musical. The show opens today, with performances at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, at 7:30 p.m. July 29 and 30, at 2 p.m. July 24 and 31 in the West Auditorium.

Based on the popular movie of the same name, this humorous musical, set in the 1980s, features a retro score containing songs such as, "Grow Old With Me," "Come Out of the Dumpster" and "Casualty of Love."

Tickets can be purchased in advance for $15 at the Alcott Center or by calling Lindsay Grandt at (847) 850-2132. Tickets will be sold for $18 at the door.
