Artists League To Host Show

The Buffalo Grove Artists' League's exhibit will open Tuesday with a public reception at Indian Trails Public Library.

The Buffalo Grove Artists' League will present its first All Members' Show from Aug. 2-30 at . More than 20 artists working in a variety of media are expected to participate, and many of the pieces will be available for sale.

An opening reception will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Aug. 2. Artists will be on hand to discuss their work and refreshments will be available. Both the show and reception are open to the community, and the public is encouraged to attend.

The Buffalo Grove Artists' League is a group open to visual artists in all media, at all stages of development. Its goal is to inspire members, educate them and allow them to share their knowledge with one another while facilitating their involvement in the Buffalo Grove community in order to raise awareness and appreciation of visual arts among the local residents.
