Last Farmers Market of the Season
Buffalo Grove's final farmers market of 2011 will be held Oct. 16.
Buffalo Grove will close out the 2011 farmers market season Sunday with musical entertainment by Mark & Jean, who will perform folk music from 10 a.m. to noon.
In addition, Rochelle Taylor, resident chef of Sur La Table store in Northbrook Court (due to open this November), will be offer a pumpkin soup cooking demonstration beginning at 10 a.m. Samples will be served.
Nonperishable food items will again be collected at the information booth to benefit the food pantry.

The farmers market runs from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the parking lot.
