Nominations are due Sept. 13 for the 2013 Heart of Buffalo Grove awards.
The Buffalo Grove Area Chamber of Commerce will award community volunteers and caring individuals in the following categories — Community, Senior and Youth Volunteer, Teach & Inspire, Business Philanthropy, "Above and Beyond" and a group award, "Together We Can."

The Heart of Buffalo Grove Awards will be presented at a celebration gala event on Nov. 23 at the Arboretum Club.
The chamber encourages residents and businesses of Buffalo Grove to make nominations for these awards. Nominations can be made via the chamber’s website at www.buffalogrovechamber.org. Forms can also be downloaded from the website or are available at the Buffalo Grove Village Hall and the Chamber office.

The chamber also encourages businesses that serve the community to promote their business at the awards banquet. Sponsor forms are available with the nomination forms.
