Dress Like Santa, Go for a Run
Registration is underway for the Arlington Heights Rotary Club's annual Santa Run.
About 2,000 runners dressed as Santa Claus will hit the streets of Arlington Heights Dec. 7, when the Arlington Heights Rotary Club holds its sixth annual Santa Run.
Participants will receive a five-piece Santa costume consisting of a hat, jacket, pants, belt and beard that can be worn in the race.
Online registration ends Dec. 2. Registration is $35 for participants 13 and older and $25 for those 12 and younger. Participants can chose between a 5K run and a 1-mile walk. Same-day registration will be available for an additional $5.
