Buffalo Grove Chiropractor Objects to New Insurance Requirement

Dr. Michael Glaskin-Clay, chiropractor at Buffalo Grove Chiropractic Center, created this video in which he passionately appeals a new requirement from Blue Cross Blue Shield. The insurance company is requiring preauthorization of all chiropractic visits beyond the first one beginning in 2014 through a third-party entity.

"To be perfectly frank, time wasted on red tape preauthorization measures is not a luxury afforded to patients desperately trying recover prior to invasive and expensive surgery becoming surgically necessary," he said in the video, which is posted on his clinic's Facebook page.
