As Buffalo Grove officials hashed out details with a developer over improvements for the Cambridge Commons shopping center this week, there was one thing they agreed upon. The site is in need of improvement.
"The shopping center is very tired. It needs updating," said Nick Vittore of Svigos Asset Management, which owns and operates the center.
Trustee Mike Terson seemed to think that "tired" was putting it mildly.
"It has looked tired to the point of narcolepsy for a long time," he said.
