Mariano's Fresh Market will purchase the Dominick's store on Route 22 in Buffalo Grove, according to Crain's Chicago Business.

The Buffalo Grove store is one of 11 that the grocery chain, owned by Roundy's, will acquire, according to Crain's.

The news comes as Dominick's prepares to close all 72 of its Chicago market stores. The stores, which include three locations in Buffalo Grove, are scheduled to close by Dec. 28. New Albertson's, the parent company of Jewel-Osco, has purchased four of the stores. Buyers have not been announced for the remaining 57 Dominick's stores, including Buffalo Grove's other two locations.

The Dominick's at 450 Half Day Road is expected to be converted into Mariano's one to two months after its purchase, which is scheduled for this month, according to the Chicago Tribune.

Other stores included in the purchase include the Dominick's locations in Northfield, Park Ridge and Gurnee, according to the Tribune.

Roundy's was scheduled to discuss its 11-store purchase during a conference call at 3:30 p.m. Dec. 2.
