I am a veteran writer and editor whose experience has come working at a daily newspaper for 20 years and more recently for a membership organization that focuses on retail marketing. I have a strong sports background, having played through college and coached in addition to my work as a reporter. I have lived in Chicago's Northwest Suburbs for most of my life.
