Originally from Fresno, CA, I moved out to Chicago to pursue a journalism degree. I graduated from Northwestern University in 2010 and am now a full-time freelance journalist. I've worked at numerous publications, including Fresno Magazine, Team Marketing Report, Lexington Herald-Leader and the Northwest Herald.

I'm currently chasing a career in sports journalism and living life to its fullest in one of the world's greatest cities. I love all of Chicago's sports teams (South Sider at heart, but have no ill will towards those who play off Addison). And I'm waiting for the day in which Northwestern a) wins a bowl game and b) goes to the NCAA Tournament. It will happen.
