Cheers to Continue for BGHS Cheerleaders
After placing first in state, the Buffalo Grove High School team continues to receive honors.
The accolades aren’t over for Buffalo Grove High School’s cheerleaders, who placed first in state on Feb. 3. The Village of Buffalo Grove and School District 214 have announced plans to publicly recognize the co-ed varsity team at upcoming board meetings. Cheers for the team began almost immediately after it clenched the state title. The cheerleaders were featured on a WGN news broadcast on Feb. 5, a day after they were honored with an all-school assembly.
