Recycle Old Holiday Lights in Buffalo Grove

Light strands can be dropped off at two locations in the village.

The Village of Buffalo Grove is again participating in The Solid Waste Agency of Northern Cook County's holiday light recycling program.  Broken or unwanted strings of holiday lights and extension cords can be brought to the Buffalo Grove Police Department or Village Hall through Feb. 28. Elgin Recycling will process the material. Lights and extension cords can be dropped off at Village Hall weekdays between 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or at the Buffalo Grove Police Department 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
