Trustees will decide tonight if Village President Elliott Hartstein deserves admonishment for election night antics.
Buffalo Grove trustees will decide tonight (Nov. 15) whether to reprimand Village President Elliott Hartstein for his election night parody of recalled Trustee Lisa Stone. With all 38 precincts counted, unofficial tallies showed voters supported Stone's removal 8,728 to 3,853. The outcome of the recall — thought to be the first in state history — means that Stone will be forced to step down from the dais just 18 months into what was supposed to be a four-year term as trustee.
