Three Buffalo Grove officials will hold a hearing Monday regarding Andy Stein's objection to Jeff Battinus' nominating petitions.
Buffalo Grove’s electoral board will meet Monday to hear the objections filed to the nominating petitions of a resident who hopes to run for a trustee position this spring. Trustee Andrew Stein, who is seeking re-election, filed an objection Wednesday to Jeffrey Battinus’ petitions after learning that Battinus did not file a statement of economic interests, which was part of the paperwork election candidates were required to file by Dec. 26. It's a tuff job, so as you can see most will not run, but it really saddens me to hear people speak about our board members so poorly. Our board does a very good job; they work long and hard on tuff issues.
