DeKalb NIU Freshman Found Dead in Fraternity House A 2012 Palatine High School graduate attending Northern Illinois University was pronounced dead Friday morning in his fraternity house. David R. Bogenberger, 19, was found unresponsive, and pronounced dead at 10:45 a.m. Police say there were no suspicious circumstances around the death that point to foul play, and an autopsy is scheduled for today.
