Spotlight on: Jordan Ryder
Jordan Ryder is dancing her way to the top!
This month the spotlight lands on Stevenson High School sophomore Jordan Ryder. Jordan has been a dancer since she was a little girl and it has now become a passion, which hopefully may lead to a career. She studies dance at LoMastro Performing Arts Academy as well as at Stevenson in both the Melange and Concert dance companies. Beyond that she was accepted to dance at the Hubbard Street as well as the Joffrey Ballet summer intensive programs. Just recently, Jordan began dancing for a local DJ company. Between Stevenson companies and dance classes, Jordan admits that about 20 hours of her week is devoted to dance training.
