Robert Morris University, District 214 Partner in $1.75 Million Project
The Forest View Educational Center will be upgraded through a joint effort. The project will include a new synthetic field, stadium lights and improvements to the field house.
The Forest View Educational Center in Arlington Heights is readying for a big upgrade; a $1.75 million improvement project for the stadium and field house. The project is the result of a partnership between Robert Morris University (RMU) and District 214, and was approved in mid-December. "I am pleased with the administration's ability to find creative ways to upgrade facilities at minimal cost to taxpayers," said James Perkins, District 214 board president. Perkins said, "This is another great example of a collaboration resulting in a mutually beneficial project," according to the District 214 website.
