Buffalo Grove Brothers Save Lives of Car Crash Victims
Ken and Daniel Hechtman pulled three people from the wreckage of a fiery Edens Expressway crash on April 21.
Two brothers from Buffalo Grove are credited for saving the lives of victims in an Edens Expressway crash on Sunday, the Chicago Tribune reports. Ken and Daniel Hechtman were driving home from Skokie Sunday when they saw a semi-truck collide with another car, causing a fiery explosion. Daniel, 54, pulled a passenger out of the front of the semi-truck, while older brother Ken rescued a woman and a young girl trapped underneath the truck, the newspaper reports. The crash is still under investigation by the Illinois State Police.
