Buffalo Grove Residents Invited to Join Nonprofit Board
School District 214's Community Education board seeks a member from Buffalo Grove — regardless of what county the resident lives in.
Buffalo Grove residents interested in serving the greater community are invited to apply for a position on School District 214’s nonprofit Community Education board. The board can include up to 25 members, said Community Education Director Mike Field. None of the 17 citizens currently serving on the board are from Buffalo Grove, he said. Community Education programs are open to all Buffalo Grove residents, even if they live within the Stevenson High School district. Fees are the same for all participants. Prospective board members from Buffalo Grove can be residents of either Cook County or Lake County, Field said.
