Video: Buffalo Grove Golf Director Retires After 39 Years
Carmen Molinaro was honored for his service Monday night by the Village Board.
Buffalo Grove’s golf director was recognized by village officials for 39 years of service on Monday, which was his last day on the job. Carmen Molinaro, who has led operations at both the Buffalo Grove Golf Course and the Arboretum Club course, was praised for his accomplishments, which have included receiving a PGA Gold Professional of the Year Award. “It’s been a labor of love. I’ve enjoyed every single year I’ve been here since 1973,” said Molinaro, who thanked village staff and the community for their support. “I’m not going to disappear.
