Buffalo Grove police and paramedics responded to an April 22 crash at the intersection of Dundee and Buffalo Grove roads.
One person was taken to a hospital Monday night following a crash between two SUVs that shut down the intersection of Dundee and Buffalo Grove roads. Buffalo Grove Sgt. Tim Gretz said a driver attempting to turn from westbound Dundee Road onto southbound Buffalo Grove Road was hit by an eastbound vehicle just before 10 p.m. Monday night. A person in the eastbound vehicle was transported to the hospital with facial abrasions and a leg injury, Gretz said. The accident is under investigation and no citations were issued at the scene, he said. Buffalo Grove police and fire personnel closed Dundee Road in both directions as well as northbound Buffalo Grove Road as the accident was cleared. The accident happened early Tuesday near the United Center, according to the Chicago Tribune.
An Arlington Heights woman is dead after crashing her 2002 Scion into a concrete median near the United Center in Chicago around 12:25 a.m. Tuesday, authorities told the Chicago Tribune. Shawna Daro, of the 200 block of West Miner Street, was alone in her car when the accident happened, the Tribune reports. Daro, 30, was a 2000 graduate of Stevenson High School, according to The Journal and Topics.

Details are still forthcoming, but a two-car crash just after 1 p.m. closed Buffalo Grove Road near Dundee Road for about a half hour as police worked to clear the scene. The road has now been reopened.
Updated 4:20p.m. Wednesday, May 30 A two car accident at 1:00p.m. this afternoon at Buffalo Grove and Dundee Roads sent one person to the hospital with non-life threatning injuries, according to Steven Husak, Buffalo Grove deputy police chief. Husak said Buffalo Grove Road was closed near the intersection for 45 minutes after one of the drivers involved made a left turn in front of the other and was hit. No tickets have been issues yet, as police continue their investigation.
