Citizens are invited to attend an informational meeting Wednesday afternoon in Buffalo Grove.
Community members will have a second opportunity to learn about the March 20 electricity aggregation referendum on Wednesday, when a public meeting will be held at 2 p.m. at Buffalo Grove's Village Hall. Meetings since have been taped by Magic Dreams Productions, and have continued to be viewable on the village’s local access cable channel. Links to past videos on the village’s site remain unavailable because they were hosted on a site that was owned by Take One Video, Village Manager Dane Bragg said. When the company’s sole proprietor died, …

Village trustees discussed for about an hour on Monday a proposal by Xtreme Trampolines to open a facility at 900 Busch Parkway. After much conversation among the officials and testimonies from the petitioner, residents and a slew of gymnastics professionals who expressed concerns about potential injuries, the board postponed voting on the proposal, instead asking its owner to return with plans for heightened safety. The discussion followed a 6-2 vote against the business by the village’s Plan Commission, which cited concerns about patrons’ safety. Trustees Beverly Sussman and Andrew…
