Chamber Inducts Officers, Board Members

Meet the 2013 Buffalo Grove Area Chamber of Commerce's 2013 leadership team.

The Buffalo Grove Area Chamber of Commerce inducted its 2013 Board of Directors this week. The leadership team includes 15 local business representatives. This year’s officers are President Scott Fishkin (Scott Fishkin insurance Services), Executive Vice President Larry Wankovsky (Triple J Ventures), Vice President Dr. Gregg Stern (Stern Chiropractic), Treasurer David Weiner (SS&G), Secretary Jan Obrand (In Working Order) and Past President Marc Blumenthal (attorney at law).  Directors include Michael Abruzzini (Buffalo Grove Bank & Trust), Vicki Baker (Gifts of Distinction), Robert Braun (American Enterprise Bank), Dan Dame (Dame Financial Services), Nels Flatebo (The Leaders’ Forum), Sid Rothenberg (Reliable Information Technology), …

Video: Quartet Performs Holiday Songs in Buffalo Grove

Top of the World Quartet performed Tuesday at a Buffalo Grove Chamber of Commerce meeting. The singers will perform again this weekend at Stevenson High School.

A local quartet helped spark the holiday spirit this week in Buffalo Grove. Top of the World Quartet performed a series of Hanukkah and Christmas songs Tuesday at the Buffalo Grove Area Chamber of Commerce’s monthly lunch meeting. The quartet, which includes Chamber member Amy Kritzman as well as Carolyn Mathewson, Sarajoy Pickholtz and Dina Hendershot, represents four members of the award-winning Melodeers.  The Melodeers will present their holiday concert at 2 p.m. Dec. 8 at Stevenson High School. Tickets will be sold at the door for $15. They can also be purchased in advance online for $16.
