Stevenson Graduate Dies After Motorcycle Crash
Buffalo Grove resident Anthony Brust died after sustaining injuries in a Long Grove crash Monday night.
Anthony Brust, a 21-year-old Buffalo Grove resident, died Tuesday after sustaining injuries in a collision in Long Grove Monday night, the Daily Herald reports. Stevenson High School announced the news earlier today (Wednesday) on its Facebook page, writing, "Stevenson sends its condolences out to the family and friends of 2009 graduate Anthony Brust, who has died from injuries suffered in a two-vehicle accident Monday night in Long Grove." The school also notified its followers on Twitter early this afternoon. Brust was riding a motorcycle at Old Route 53 and Robert Parker Coffin Road Monday night when he was hit by an SUV, according to the Herald. This is absolutely heartbreaking. I will always remember Anthony's smiling face during the summers when the boys played BGRA. Though a couple articles described Anthony as a "21 year old man", he and all these boys will always be considered one of "our kids" in our hearts and in the community. Prayers for the Brust family that they somehow manage to get through this.   more ›
