Buffalo Grove Village Hall is located on the municipal campus on Raupp Boulevard, on the north side of Lake Cook…More Road. The building houses administrative offices and is where the Village Board meets twice a month to conduct business.

Among the village's most popular events are Buffalo Grove Days (run by a team of volunteers over Labor Day weekend) and the Arts Fair, a village-sponsored event held during one weekend in July. In 2010, the village introduced a farmers market.

The school's entire student body is composed of children from the Village of Buffalo Grove, who are known as the Ivy Hall Wildcats. Upon completion of fifth grade, Ivy Hall students attend Twin Groves Middle School.
Ivy Hall School is located on the same campus as District 96's administrative offices. Ivy Hall Park, which is owned by the Buffalo Grove Park District, sits adjacent to the school. The park is jointly maintained by the park district and District 96.
