Northwest Suburban Interfaith Council

Flag as Inappropriate

With a simple but important purpose, the Northwest Suburban Interfaith Council seeks to foster acceptance and understanding between religions. Its members include Conservative and Reform Jewish congregations, as well as Lutheran, Methodist and Catholic communities. Since its inception in 1990, the Interfaith Council has been a nonprofit run entirely on a volunteer basis, funded by membership dues, with leadership from both clergy and laity. Monthly meetings are held in one of its eight member congregations on a rotating basis.
