Buffalo Grove Salon Offers Pink Hair Extensions for Charity

The Best Salon and Spa is running a series of fundraisers in October to mark Breast Cancer Awareness month. A bake sale will run Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The salon is also offering pink hair extensions for $10. Proceeds will benefit the American Cancer Society.

Those who survive the zombie encounter can take another run Sunday in Kildeer, where a 5?/8K combined with an Oktoberfest celebration will benefit Countryside Association for People with Disabilities.
