A Close Look at the Moon
Join the Lake County Astronomical Society this week for a look at the moon. This is among many Buffalo Grove-area events on tap this week.
The Lake County Astronomical Society invites residents to glimpse the moon by telescope Tuesday night at Indian Trails Public Library. Space is limited and registration is required.
Parents who'd prefer a more earthly lesson can instead head to Twin Groves Middle School Tuesday night for the District 96 Parent-to-Parent Network's presentation on how to help kids prepare for real-world success.
Thursday brings an opportunity to shop while benefitting a local organization. The Long Grove Historical Society will hold an auction at the Long Grove Village Tavern featuring golf outings, jewelry and more.
