Rotary Offers a Taste of Buffalo Grove

A crowd of hungry Buffalo Grove residents turned out Thursday night for the Buffalo Grove Grove Rotary Club’s Taste of Buffalo Grove.

The event, held at Buffalo Grove High School, featured $2 samples from a number of restaurants including Buffalo Restaurant, Fuji Thai, Grande Jakes, Grillworks, India House, Las Palmas, Oishii Thai, Prairie House, The Continental and Winberie's.

Proceeds will benefit existing Rotary programs as well as those that will be implemented next year, President-elect Stephen Legge said.

“We have a lot of continuous programs. We are looking for a large project that will be helpful to the community and visible,” he said.

Thursday night’s event also featured a food drive to benefit the Wheeling Township food pantry and the new Wheeling Food Pantry on Wolf Road in Wheeling.
